Miss

Merriam-webster.com's definition of the word miss is as follows :  to discover or feel the absence of. So, how can a person miss someone or something that they are in close proximity of? Believe it or not it happens more often than you think. It's funny that a loved one can go missing right before your very eyes and you not notice it until it is too late. Once you have discovered that they are gone, you then ask yourself were they really there? If they were? Did they miss you too and why is it that they didn't bring this to your attention? I have learned that some questions are better left unasked.
